Soho House brings its signature mix of design-led spaces, creative energy and all-day hospitality to the historic Granada Studios building. Set across multiple floors, the House is the first in the North of England and blends mid-century references, 1950s broadcasting heritage and a quietly luxurious palette of terrazzo, timber, velvet and vintage finds.

Members enter through a discreet doorway on Atherton Street before the building opens up into a series of distinct floors: a dedicated Soho Health Club with studio spaces and recovery areas; a full floor of bedrooms ranging from compact crash pads to generous suites; a flexible events studio for talks, screenings and live music; and two levels of dining, drinking and lounging that look out across St John’s. The eighth-floor Club Lounge and House Kitchen are the social heart of the building, complete with a retractable roof for open-air dining and a terrace that leads to the rooftop pool and bar.

As ever with Soho House, design runs deep — from custom Murano-glass lighting to mid-century furniture and fabrics commissioned from northern makers. Artworks by Manchester creatives line the walls, and the building’s past as a pioneering TV studio is woven subtly into the interiors.

Membership offers access to the full programme: daily events, DJ nights, creative talks, screenings, long lunches, late evenings, gym sessions and midweek coffees. Members can bring up to three guests, with spaces shifting from bright daytime work-friendly corners to warm, low-lit bars as night falls.
