Sticky Fingers began life as a market stall, quietly building a following for beautifully made Polish pastries at a time when good news felt in short supply. Run by husband-and-wife team Adrian and Klaudyna, the operation quickly became a go-to for flaky bakes done with care, precision and a lot of heart.

That popularity has now translated into a permanent café — and it feels like a natural next chapter. Spread across three floors, the space has been thoughtfully restored over the course of a year, with the same hands-on approach that defines the food. It’s calm, welcoming and already humming with regulars from early morning onwards.

The counter is where Sticky Fingers really shines. Expect Polish classics like jagodzianka (blueberry-filled pastries), alongside cinnamon buns, filled brioche and seasonal specials, all baked fresh on site. There’s substance too, with well-executed sandwiches and breakfast options that make it just as appealing for lunch as it is for a quick pastry stop.

Coffee is taken seriously, sourced from Sheffield roasters Cupper’s Choice, and pairs perfectly with the sweet and savoury offering. Sit downstairs and you can watch the baking in action — a reminder that this is still very much a working bakery at heart.
