This is a bar of two very deliberate halves — and it pulls both off with confidence. From the team behind Blinker, The Morris blends the comfort of a proper pub with the experimental edge of a modern cocktail lounge.
Downstairs is all about ease. Copper-topped tables, good Guinness, quality local beers and a relaxed soundtrack make it the sort of place you can drop into midweek or settle into on a busy Friday without thinking twice. It’s familiar in the best way — unpretentious, welcoming, and built for conversation.
Upstairs is where things get playful. Inspired by 70s and 80s lounge culture, the cocktail bar leans hard into nostalgia — but with serious technique behind it. Hidden away at the back is lab-level kit more often found in science departments than bars, allowing the team to distil, centrifuge and carbonise flavours with uncanny precision. When a drink promises Drumstick, Fruit Salad or Black Forest gateau, it really delivers — not as a gimmick, but as a carefully engineered experience.

Then there’s The Loft. Sitting above it all, this flexible top-floor space is designed for events, brand takeovers and parties, with bespoke drinks, strong sound, and pizza supplied by Nell’s. It’s polished without being corporate, and adaptable without losing personality.
Three floors, one clear identity: The Morris is about good taste — whether that’s a pint, a perfectly executed cocktail, or a flavour that sends you straight back to the school playground.
