After a series of successful Sessions events at the flagship G-SHOCK store on London’s Carnaby Street, the brand, alongside Code and Culture, will be taking its renowned ‘Sessions’ experience outside of London for the first time ever.
For the next event, the team is heading to the creative and cultural hotspot of Manchester to celebrate the creatives and cultural communities at the forefront of the UK’s Northern powerhouse.
Partnering with fashion lifestyle brand and creative ecosystem, MNT CNDITION, the session will be hosted on Sunday 27th November 2022 at Off The Square, with some of the city’s finest young creatives.
A selection of Manchester artists including PIICASA, Krystan Grace, Liam Heeley and Pete Obsolete have been handpicked to utilise their unique artistic disciplines to creatively respond to the G-Shock theme of #NEVERGIVEUP.
Progress of the work will be posted on social media in the run up to the event and the final pieces will be showcased exclusively on the night, through a blend of visual arts, fashion and music.
The night will also host a B2B clash between 2 of the City’s biggest hitters on the decks, DJ G2 and FARO. DJ G2 became a DJ in 2008 and is known to many as an all-round partyer. Whether it’s clubs, festivals or afters, his advanced style of mixing has entertained audiences endlessly.
In a nod to the two turntables and a mic hip-hop culture, bashment toasters & UKG mic controllers Faro manages to seamlessly bridge the gap between the selector and the crowd creating an immersive party experience.
