Hat-trick of Exciting New Retailers for Hatch

Hatch, Manchester’s intriguing new pop-up retail and leisure destination, is welcoming three new exciting retailers to its ever-evolving line-up.

Beautiful bespoke florist The Beehive, organic wine supplier Love and Labour, and Nonsense, a unique concept store with a selection of carefully curated products from around the world are the latest names to join the Hatch community.

A buzzing new place to eat, drink and shop on Oxford Road, Hatch offers a regularly rotating program of unique street food traders, independent retailers, a coffee shop and a bar.

A little more information on each new vendor at Hatch is as follows:

The Beehive
Independent florist The Beehive will bring a stunning selection of flowers, plants and bespoke floral arrangements to Hatch. The beautiful blossoms will be adding a splash of colour to the space under The Mancunian Way.

Founder Malaika said: “Hatch benefits from a great mixture of people passing by and we’ve had great feedback so far. We’re looking forward to being part of this new space as it transforms into a real retail destination.”


Love and Labour
Helping shoppers bring home something different for the table, Love and Labour offers up the latest craze for wine-lovers – all-natural, organic wines.The team behind the store, James Jensen and Katie Scott hope to expand their space and open a new bar where they can serve up their organic creations by the glass. James said:

“It’s great to be part of this new community of independent operators and set up a more permanent space in this up and coming part of Manchester.

“This is an amazing opportunity to showcase our unique wines to a wider audience and we’ve already had a lot of interest in the products from local students and professionals.”

 

Nonsense
With a permanent outlet already in Prestwich, Nonsense is bringing its quirky blend of unique gifts to Hatch, selling everything from indoor plants and ceramics, to stationary and books.The husband and wife team, Alex and Jeanette, will also be hosting children’s craft workshops for little ones to show off their skills and create masterpieces to take home.

Alex said “Nonsense is a family business that Jeanette and I are both passionate about,

Jeanette’s plant knowledge combined with our love of design and colour make Hatch the perfect platform for us to showcase these great products.’’

 

Brought to you by leading property company, Bruntwood, Hatch is curated and managed by the team behind Afflecks.Bruntwood began the transformation of the area in October 2017 and Hatch is already home to five diverse independent food and drink traders. The project is set for continued expansion and expected to grow to a total of over 30 units this summer.
