Luxury Travel Intelligence have just announced their top 15 hotels of 2019 worldwide. And it’s no shock to us that Manchester has made a guest appearence on the list. Coming in at a solid number 12, is the Stock Exchange Hotel

Newly opened, the Stock Exchange Hotel was home to (you’ve guessed it) Manchester’s Stock Exchange. This stunning building comes with all of the period features imaginable – but with plenty of modern touches. The best thing? Tom Kerridge has opened up a restaurant on the ground floor in here – the Bull & Bear – and it’s out of this world good.

The collection of unique rooms can be booked as individual rooms or combined into a number of configurations, creating interconnected spaces including hiring whole floors. There are 3 rooms named after the original architects of the building, The Bradshaw, John Gass and Arthur Hope. Rooms in the hotel start at £160 per night.

A well deserved place on the elite list, we’d say.
