Taking place this Sunday from 12pm – 5pm, Stockport’s Rare Finds is hosting its first ever Manchester city centre flea market featuring homeware brands, pre-loved clothing and affordable pieces from independent brands.
Ran by the team behind Rare Finds in Stockport, a treasure trove store full of secondhand gems, the flea market is the team’s first city centre venture that will be hosted at Mayfield Depot.
Those dropping by can expect an abundance of pieces that commit to a circular way of shopping. It’s perfect for independent brands, as well as people who are decluttering their wardrobes, and with affordable prices across clothing, homeware and more, it gives buyers a chance to enjoy shopping without worrying about budgets.
Speaking of the event, Emma, owner of Rare Finds Flea Market said: “It’s going to have a European market vibe, where there’s tons of stuff for people to rummage through!
“In the current climate, we wanted to make the market accessible to all – that’s why we’re offering the stalls for free! Hosting it at Mayfield Depot, too, means that it’s surrounded by other lovely local food and drink businesses so that people can make a proper day out of it. Mayfield Park has also just recently opened, so people really can spend all day there!”
Starting this Sunday, the Manchester flea market will then continue every weekend until the 18th December. It runs from 12pm – 5pm and the traders will change each week.
