Margot & Lux
Margot & Lux is a boutique vintage store on Manchester’s Port Street. Owned by gorgeous Geordie, Holly Edgar, the store offers a more bespoke vintage service selling unique, one-of-a-kind garments, accessories and homeware. Hollie hand-picks each item, scouring charity shops, wholesalers, warehouses and the internet for pre-loved pieces with undeniable charm and character. The store also stocks limited runs from sustainable brands such as Sandra Alexandra and Summer Morning Studios.

Pop Boutique
One of Manchester’s longest running sustainable vintage stores, Pop Boutique has a space on Oldham Street and inside Affleck’s Palace, as well as stores in Liverpool, too. All of its shops are full of vintage shirts, jumpers, sports jackets and denim, alongside limited runs of its own brand garments. The Oldham Street store also stocks a plethora of vintage nick nacks in its basement that are perfect for jazzing up your home!

COW Vintage
Another sustainable vintage store on Oldham Street is COW Vintage. Their handpicked items are ethically sourced from around the world and available to shop at affordable prices. Truly showcasing how trends, fashion and styles can really stand the test of time, Cow’s quality clothes, unique finds and iconic brands range from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and even nostalgic 00s pieces.

Blue Rinse
Blue Rinse serves as another treasure trove of vintage goodies for you to explore at a very reasonable price point. It has everything from vintage jewellery to cardigans, sweater vests, shirts and co-ords that regularly keep up with the seasons. The shop is not just exclusive to Manchester either, there’s also one in Leeds full of more gorgeous vintage goodies.

Bionic Seven
Premium, hand-picked pieces of vintage are what Bionic Seven specialises in. Just a few doors up from Margot and Lux, the store is cosy, but has more than enough space to spend time rummaging. It has Barbour jackets, Adidas jumpers, caps and Levi’s jeans that are all second-hand and sustainably sourced.

Bags of Flavor
Known for its drops of exclusive vintage outerwear, Bags of Flavour on Tib Street is another store making sustainable shopping fairly effortless. The store has been a Northern Quarter staple since 2000, and also buys unwanted vintage goods, so if you’re having a wardrobe clear out anytime soon make sure you send any unwanted vintage gems their way!

The Wonderful Flight
A sustainable store across the other side of town, The Wonderful Flight is a fairly new space in the ABC building on Quay Street. It may be minimal on the surface, but beneath the store is full of bold printed t-shirts, jumpers and big brands including Carhartt, Patagonia and The North Face.

Kilo Sale on Oldham Street
The kilo sale, which is also run by Blue Rinse, allows you to pay for your vintage garments by weight. There’s always one-of-a-kind pick and mix mens and women’s vintage clothing from the 60s-90s, including all of your favourite branded names, and it’ll cost you a mere 15 quid for a kilo of clothing!

Nordic Muse
Nordic Muse is an own-label jewellery and branded Nordic lifestyle collective ran by Jenny Maxwell. They have their very own permanent bricks and mortar site on Tib Street in the NQ, offering design-led products at the right price, with a curated range of wares from home, living, jewellery, accessories, cards, stationery and loads more!

Suzy Loves Milo
The guys at Suzy Loves Milo offer reworked and up-cycled vintage clothing from around the globe. Continuously updating their stock with everything from vintage Nike, Stussy, Guess, Napapijri, rare trainers, accessories and unique jewellery finds. The best vintage shop in Manc. There I said it.
