With doors set to open this Thursday 19th September, there's set to be a lot of sweaty folk down on Ducie Street from now on!
The multidisciplinary fitness space, BLOK invites Manchester to join them over the opening weekend for a 48 hour introduction to the training, the team and the community.
Signature shakes will be available to sample over the weekend with nutrition partners FORM, alongside a series of surprises along the way whilst meeting the BLOK head trainers, nutritionists and the design team responsible for the iconic BLOK aesthetic.
Until October 31st, BLOK are offering a 14 day unlimited trial for £25, giving you uncapped access to all classes for 14 consecutive days and your key to unlocking the BLOK Weekender – perfect way to discover all BLOK has to offer.
Renowned for its multidisciplinary approach to fitness and design led aesthetic, BLOK was founded in London in 2016, instantly disrupting the studio landscape and quickly becoming the favoured workout for inner city residents.
Fast forward to 2019, BLOK brings its unique fitness experience to their first site outside of London, set to become their third UK location and the first step into national expansion – enter, BLOK Manchester.
The 5000 Sqft space holds three multidisciplinary studios, state of the art changing facilities and a large retail area – stocked with the latest up and coming brands to break into active wear, alongside BLOK skincare partner, Malin + Goetz.
BLOK Manchester is established within Ducie Street Warehouse, the former Victorian complex is set to become the ultimate cultural destination in Manchester developed by Capital and Centric Property Developers – housing Cultureplex, Native and now home to the city’s favourite workouts.
Following the same formula as seen in London, BLOK Manchester offers a space that encompasses fitness, fashion, art and design – all meeting under one roof to offer the ultimate experience.
“Manchester was a natural choice for the third BLOK as it is such a key location for art, design, fashion and technology”, explains Co-Founder, Reema Stanbury.
She continues, “We are drawn to creative hubs and Manchester, especially the Northern Quarter, has a thriving and growing creative community. Our goal has always been to create more than just a gym and for every BLOK site to be a genuine destination.”

Open seven days a week, their extensive programme offers Boxing, Dance, Pilates, Yoga, Cardio and Strength & conditioning workouts. Each class is delivered by one of the 50 elite instructors hand selected by BLOK, to ensure world class training is experienced across every single discipline.
