by Art of Spectra Thursday 22nd March 2012 Tickets £8 / £5 concessions - book by emailing boxoffice@zionarts.com or calling 0161 232 6089 Defined. Outside. Beyond. Trapped. On the Other Side. Swedish dance company Art of Spectra have created an exciting and dynamic performance looking at the invasion and the handling of crossing personal and private boundaries. In an atmosphere inspired by the worlds of David Lynch, he examines general human issues in this physical, expressive and uploaded performance. Art of Spectra's contemporary style is very physical and features movements influenced by the choreographer's background in breakdancing. Choreographer and composer, Peter Svenzon, founded Art of Spectra in 1998. His artistic expression is very significant and physical - communicating directly with both young and adult audiences. Art of Spectra are also offering a great opportunity for young people to learn new dance skills and perform as a curtain raiser for the show. See their Modern Dance for Young Dancers workshop!
