Everyone’s favourite Hot Dog and Pizza vendor Dogs N Dough have launched a new contest for all you competitive people out there – the 4 Bite Challenge.
TripAdvisor must be a double-edged sword for most establishments out there. It’s all too common for you to hear about business owners going absolutely mental at customers on there because they don’t agree with what has been said.
Faced with a review proclaiming while eating one of their Hot Dogs, that “after 4 bites it was gone” the good folk at Dogs N Dough have decided to let people put their reviews where their mouths are and try the 4 Bite Challenge.
So confident are they that their hot dogs are in no way small enough for 4 bites, they’ve devised the 4 bite challenge where you have 60 seconds to finish the dog in 4 bites. And as nice as they are, they’ve made it a Naked Dog, so it should be easy peasy right!?
Well, I’ve just been down there with the Manchester’s Finest lot and I can proclaim that the challenge is very difficult. Although very tasty, I put in a rather pathetic performance and managed to make a right idiot of myself in the process. Here is my attempt…
So if you fancy giving this challenge a try, all you need to do is head on down to Dogs N Dough and let them know you think you have the skills to do it. They will take a video or before and after picture of the deed, as well as measuring either the time you finished the dog in (if under a minute – unlikely) or how much is left.
The competition is open only to the first 60 people that request to try, and there is no purchase necessary. No excuse then really – whoever can actually manage to finish the whole thing in 4 bites in under a minute’s time will WIN A MEAL for TWO.
Don’t worry if you don’t managed to finish the whole thing, if you post your attempt on social media tagging in @dogsndough plus hashtagging #4bitechallenge one of the entries will be picked at random to WIN A MEAL for TWO as well!
