It doesn’t get any fancier than a Michelin-starred Valentine’s dinner courtesy of Manchester’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, Mana. The luxurious seven-course menu kicks off with Caviar – of course – before a Charcuterie board featuring pickled roses. Next is Scottish Langoustines, then Poached Shetland Turbot before Barbeque Hogget Shoulder. Next is the cheese course with fermented plums and nettle crackers followed by Cultured Buckwheat Fudge!

Fantastic Chorlton eatery The Creameries have launched a series of Valentine’s gifts over on their online store, including Paired Wines for Two (£60), a Supper Menu for Two (£100) or their Valentine’s Hamper (£45) which comes with a bottle of fizz, two handmade rosemary + hazelnut chocolates and two handmade burnt butter + white chocolate truffles.
