This pioneering festival, Velio, celebrates life on two-wheels, bringing all the usual goodness a festival has like late-night dancing with an added sprinkling of wellness.
The festival will feature entertainment, music and comedy in a carefully curated programme of international music artists, comedians and immerse moments across five stages.
There will also be different routes of varying lengths for riders of all experience levels to enjoy.
Set at the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle, the Velio festival really is open to everyone, from expert riders to complete novices. Everyone can indulge in the feasts, entertainment, stunning surroundings and, of course, head out for a ride or two.
The headliner – Velutopia – is a ride filled with immersive entertainment, stretching across 14km of closed roads. It’s a world-first event and is bound to blow the minds of cycling lovers!
There are also four other routes, ranging from 3km to 100km with options suitable for beginners, experienced riders, disabled cycling and mini kids rides too.
Guests can also expect a massive feast too. Courtesy of award-winning chefs, festival-goers will tuck into long table banquets all championing local produce. There will also be speciality bars so you can sit back, sip on something delicious and soak up the picturesque settings.
For the ultimate relaxing night after a cycle, stretch it out with yoga, calm your mind with meditation and soak those muscles in wood-fired hot tubs.
There’s room for spacious camping and even a boutique camping village for an ultimate festival experience – nothing like the ones you did when you were 16.
