The former Conservative Working Men’s Club in Altrincham was transformed a good few years ago into Con Club. A modern venue serving up an impeccable Sunday Roast, plenty of booze and a pretty much guaranteed good time.

After spending the past year in lockdown, offering takeaway roasts each weekend and special-themed meal kits as well as a pop up in the kitchen from Bad Boy Vegan – it’s time for the doors to swing open and for you lovely lot to pull up a pew.

Like pretty much all of the population, I absolutely cannot wait for April 12th. It’s not long before we will all be sat outside our favourite venue with our favourite pals and everything will feel well in the world, if only for a second! Maybe the sun might even make an appearance.

Luckily, Con Club has a huge and I mean whopping big terrace outside that is patiently waiting to welcome us all with open arms.

They’ve even got a small terrace up top too, a total hidden gem in the popular suburb. It’s so hidden in fact, we’re pretty sure this might be the ONLY rooftop terrace in Altrincham.

And just in case the weather is shocking – which it probably will be – there’s a nice Tipi to keep you covered too.

The Con Club will be open for al fresco drinks and food from April 12th with tables available on a first-come-first-serve basis (no bookings!).
