This Saturday they’ve got their hands full with a super-secret garden party – not even me, personal friend and loveable character knows where it’s going to be. The Great Northern Street Festival
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August
So instead of just having All Star Lanes, Almost Famous and the Odeon cinema – this weekend sees the Great Northern lot add plenty more to their arsenal with a fully-fledged FESTIVAL! A festival in such a small space?! Easy peasy! There’s a ton of live music, art, performance and more – it’s gonna be a good one babes!
Full Fat MCR x Pippy Eats Dumpling Workshop
Sunday 4th August
Pippy Eats has teamed up with Full Fat Manchester to raise some funds for charity and guess what – not only is it super nice but you also get to reap the rewards with some bloody good dumplings. Head on over to the Fairfield Social Club this Sunday and you can tuck into the best dumplings imaginable – as well as probably learn how to fold them little buggers.
Niamos & Hulme Garden Centre Bazaar

We can all sit here and wax lyrical about how good NIAMOS is in Hulme but at some point someone is going to make us put our money where our mouths are. Well, this weekend you can because on Sunday they’ll be hosting their brilliant Bazaar, meaning you can your hands on a load of old clobber, a Tracy Island from Thunderbirds and even a couple of NatWest pigs if you’re lucky.
Pedro! At The Emo Disco

To all you black t-shirt wearing freaks out there – Pedro’s is putting on a bloody brilliant EMO night this week where you can listen to all of your favourite hits whilst also looking pensive and demure. Nobody will judge you as you tuck into a full Mac Daddy at 3am while still downing the double vodkas. It’s the perfect party.
Chimpo & Nanny Banton present Simply Dread

Top lads Chimpo and Nanny Banton are hosting an all-night Mancunian party this week and you’re all bloody invited – whether you like it or not! There will be Dancehall, RNB, Hip-Hop, Garage, Jungle and probably a few little oddities popped in there too – the lads like to keep you on your toes.
