Technology giant Facebook will be taking over Takk on Tariff Street on Wednesday 28th & Thursday 29th August.

The pop-up is designed to encourage people to run a privacy check-up on their Facebook – an attempt to tackle concerns with privacy on the social network in the light of recent news stories and ‘scandals’.

The cafe will be one of 5 located across the UK, a response to many surveys which highlight how much people worry about their social media privacy.

A selected menu of FREE drinks will be available for anyone who takes part in a check-up – with a choice of cappuccino, Americano and mint tea.

The quick and easy privacy check-up allows people to tailor their Facebook settings, personalising how much information is seen by who, as well as seeing which apps and websites you’ve got connected to Facebook.
