Everybody loves Breakout and if you don’t because you’ve never had the pleasure of trying it before, then take Wednesday 6th November as the perfect opportunity to get involved.
For one FULL DAY, Breakout Manchester are donating ALL money taken from bookings and spreading across the city.
The money raised is being donated equally across 5 amazing charities all doing incredible work across the city:
Manchester Pride is a massive deal in town. Everybody knows who it is and most people know it because of the huge weekend in August that takes over the city. But the charity also strive for equality, challenging discrimination through creating opportunites for engagement and participation for the LGBTQ+ community.
Early Break UK has a focus on young people, providing emotional support through one-to-one counselling. There’s a specialistion in emotional wellbeing support, be that through holistic therapy, mindfulness, bereavement and loss counselling or anti-bullying support.
The Christie Hospital is a cancer hospital in the south of Manchester and is easily one of the most highly regarded in the country. The charity raises money outside of the scope of NHS to provide leading treatment to patients.
Forever Manchester funds and supports local communities across Greater Manchester. for young, old and disable people. They also arrange activities to support and aid homelessness, education and cancer support projects.
And finally, Breakout is also supporting Every Month. Every Month is a charity creating period packs for people with periods who are experiencing homelessness and poverty across Manchester.
