Although their doors are currently closed, the latest adaptation of this family-run business has seen over 1000 delicious hot food parcels delivered to a number of Manchester hospitals, ambulance stations, Police & Fire Brigade stations and nursing homes.

Lily’s quality, regionally inspired Indian food has garnered a huge following of loyal diners since its humble beginnings and is known for their sense of community and family-first nature.

Now, as a gesture of their appreciation for the hard work from all frontline workers, their delicious food parcels are being delivered all around Manchester, including Lily’s famed Mixed Vegetable Curry & rice and Chana Masala & rice.

Nila Garara, owner of independent business Mindfully Relaxed, has also teamed up with Lily’s for a joint donation this week.

Through generous donations and joint forces, the duo have been able to deliver delicious hot lunches to Royal Oldham Hospital, Tameside Hospital, Lakes Care Home, Ashton Fire Station and Dukinfield Ambulance Services.

Customer donations have also funded PPE for NHS frontline workers in association with Indian Association Oldham Suresh Garara Sasi Patel.

There’s plenty going on over on their Facebook page (including quiz nights and virtual Bollywood nights!) head over and show them some support.
