Manchester Young Professionals, the networking community known for their drink’s socials, well-being events and vast following across the city, are keeping individuals across Manchester connected during isolation.

Their series of online events includes workouts, workshops and social get-togethers with the aim of ensuring young professionals can stay stimulated and in contact during this period of social isolation.

Here are some of the things they’ve they’ve got coming up…

Posture workshop with Jeff Ross Physiotherapist
Thursday 9th April, 1pm. Instagram Live.
With us all now working from home on makeshift desks and possibly non-supportive chairs. Jeff Ross’ 30 minute workshop will be providing tips and advice to ensure we are maintaining good posture, with a specific focus on looking after our backs and necks.

Digital Book Club
Wednesday 22rd April, 6.30pm. Zoom.
Last month Manchester Young Professionals launched the digital book club, inviting the community to read one of two books and join the conversation on Good Reads. On the 23rd April the first online meet will take place via Zoom as young pros across the city come together to discuss their first fiction read – Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo.

To join the Book Club event head to Manchester Young Professionals Instagram page and send them a direct message to get the meeting link.

All the Manchester Young Professional digital events are free to attend, simply follow them on social media or sign up to the newsletter to join the community.
