The brains behind the immensely popular Albert Schloss are looking to take over the large cafe, bar and performance space opposite Mackie Mayor on Swan Street, a site being developed by CAPITAL & CENTRIC and Kamani Property Group.
Licencing and planning applications have been submitted for the founders of Albert Schloss outlining the new venue – Swan Street Firehouse – a bar, cafe, restaurant and events space housed in an old MOT garage and storage facility.
The MOT garage and storage space will form the main structure, with further outside space adding an extra 14,000 sq ft to the venue. Whether this will be a permanent feature is unknown, but as current social distancing guidelines are in place – it looks likely to feature prominently.
