Throughout February and March, a series of special online tours of Elizabeth’s Gaskell will be taking place.

You can find yourself submerged in the Grade II listed Regency-style villa and live out all your virtual Bridgerton dreams.

The interactive tours will be limited to just 20 people so you can ask as many questions as your heart desires in each room and find out all the details of Elizabeth’s life.

The home is the only literary home in Manchester and regularly had visitors like Charlotte Bronte, Charles Dickens and John Ruskin.

Sally Jastrzebski-Lloyd, House Manager of Elizabeth Gaskell’s House, says:

“The online talks we have hosted over the last few months have been a great success, attracting lots of participation and wonderful feedback.

“We’ve applied the experience we’ve gained from these to create an online tour that we think will be really enjoyable because of its very visual and interactive nature.

“We are also delighted that through these events we are able to reach not only a regional and national audience, but also Elizabeth Gaskell fans worldwide.  Plus every ticket booked helps us to continue to run this treasured literary home.”

Tickets cost £10 and all money raised goes towards the maintenance and running of the house.

You also get a discount to use in the shop included in your ticket.
