Headie One grew up inspired by US rappers such as Future and French Montana and surrounded himself with others who used music as their outlet.

Headie One’s previous three mixtapes Sticks & Stones, Drillers & Trappers, Drillers & Trappers II, have pushed him to the forefront of the Drill rap scene in the UK and fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of his solo mixtape ‘The One’.

Lead single, Golden Boot has surpassed 3.2 million views on YouTube supported by BBC 1Extra and Capital Xtra. ‘Know Better’ has over 5 million views on YouTube and has become a club anthem for the year.

Headie started 2019 with a bang, becoming the first drill rapper to enter the Top 10, reaching number 6 with his track 18 Hunna ft Dave.

His solo work, which he returned to in May, lead him to his greatest achievement nominated for Best New International Act at the 2019 BET AWARDS.
