This year, The Village Screen Pop-up Cinema will be decking the halls of Manchester’s Victoria Baths to deliver the ultimate seasonal cinematic line up. The Edwardian grandeur of Manchester’s water palace will be the backdrop for enjoying these classic films at their best, on the big screen!

The Gala pool with its period detailing and ornate tiles make a stunning setting for a memorable festive treat to enjoy with family or friends.

On Friday 6 December watch a young, fresh faced Macaulay Culkin as he tackles and outsmarts a pair of clueless burglars to protect the family home in everyone’s favourite action packed, Christmas adventure film, Home Alone.

Then on Saturday 7th December there will be a double whammy of Christmas crackers, kick starting the day with a matinee screening of the hilarious tale of Buddy (Will Ferrell) in the family favourite, Elf. The Christmas cheer continues in to the evening with the action-packed adventure, and Dr. Seuss’ much beloved children’s tale, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Finally, the festivities are wrapped up on December 8th, as celebrations draw to an end with a warm fuzzy feeling with the screening of Love Actually.  This is the ultimate festive romantic comedy for a pre-Christmas date night!

Ahead of each screening, there will be a DJ playing and the venue will be festooned with twinkling lights to add extra festive sparkle.

Some of the North’s finest street food vendors will be in attendance so that you can enjoy a bite to eat and a pop-up bar will be serving a selection of drinks throughout the evening.
