Albert Hall have announced Oktoberfestival, a Bier Halle Weekender taking place over the weekend of September 15th – 17th 2017, at the exact same time as the original Octoberfest in Munich and will star all the official Munich festival biers.

After the storming success of last year’s Oktoberfest celebrations, and as well as this year’s planned three-week extravaganza back in the Schloss, an extra special event has been added to the beer calendar at Albert Hall.

World class beers and lederhosen will be in abundance, but as this event will be held in the venue voted ‘best live music in Manchester’ for the last three years in a row, the major difference will be the super cool music line-up that Albert Hall have put together to accompany the beer drinking festivities.

Featuring authentic Bavarian Bier tents, Lederhosen, Oompah, Wurst Olympics, Pretzels and a line-up of music that will run throughout the weekender, including – Norman Jay, Marshall Jefferson, Tim Burgess (DJ Set), Twisted Tubes, Ghetto Child, Jonny Walsh (GOO), Yadava & Bolts (So Flute), Ghetto Child and You Dig?

The hall will be pouring the largest selection of the limited-edition Oktoberfest beers, something rarely found outside Germany, including Paulaner, Hofbrau and Hacker Pschorr – which are usually the reserve of the Munich festival.
