Three Rivers are proud to announce that The City of Manchester Distillery, home to Manchester Three Rivers Gin and the city centre’s first ever distillery, has been awarded Gold at The Distillery Masters 2017 for Consumer Experience within our first 5 months of trading.
Chaired by The Spirits Business and judged by a panel of specialists, The Global Distillery Masters medals are a
bid to find and reward the world’s finest distilleries across the entire spirits sector. The Consumer Experience
Award is designed to reward distilleries that are leading the way in their approach to educating, engaging and
delighting their guests.
Master Distiller Dave Rigby commented on the award; ‘Since we opened our doors in August 2016 we have been overwhelmed by the support and positivity from the local community as well as people from all over the country who have visited us. We
are very proud to be awarded Gold for our Gin Experience, it was always our vision to not only create a Super Premium Gin but to also create an interesting and innovative space that the people of Manchester could be proud of and allowed them
to participate in the Gin Renaissance with us.’
With the choice of over 50 botanicals and working with their own mini-copper still they get the chance to experience what it is like to be a master distiller for the day.
By sticking to the guiding principles of the city and our ethos of Industry, Creation, Innovation we created an interactive, immersive Gin Experience that culminates in our guests being able to make their very own bottle of Gin to take home. With the choice of over 50 botanicals and working with their own mini-copper still they get the chance to experience what it is like to be a master distiller for the day.
