It’s a series of cocktail and immersive drinking experiences which each celebrate one of the ten exquisite botanicals found within its perfectly balanced gin. Luckily for Manchester, one of these ten bars is Science & Industry – the fantastic cocktail bar located upstairs of Cain & Grain.
Here’s the blurb: “A Gin of Ten Journeys will take intrepid travellers on an inspirational journey to explore the stories, myths and provenance behind the ten sustainably sourced botanicals used in Bombay Sapphire. From Juniper, Lemon Peel and Coriander, to more exotic flavours such as Cassia Bark and Grains of Paradise, these delicate, balanced herbs, fruits and spices all create the unique and smooth liquid of Bombay Sapphire.”
For the occasion, the team at Science & Industry have created The Blue Hive – a cocktail which leans on the bar’s scientific approach to cocktail-creation. Using quirky flavours, from homemade honeycomb kombucha to a Grains of Paradise aromatic syrup, the drink aims to encapsulate the vibrant spirit of the Northern Quarter in Manchester.
The Blue Hive will be available until mid-October so get down before then.
