Since 1997, CLASS magazine has built a reputation as the most influential UK bar industry magazine. Targeting the UK’s craft bar scene, CLASS is the essential read for key influences and buyers, namely bartenders, bar managers and bar owners.

The awards have firmly established its reputation as the UK bar industry’s most important celebration. Their award categories recognise the bars and bartenders that set the standard for hospitality and innovation across the UK. Judging is split into two processes enabling them to best evaluate the UK’s leading bars and bartenders, and two of our Manchester favourites have been nominated!

The awards are split into 16 categories including Bar of the Year, Bar food Menu of the Year, Bartender of the year, Hotel Bar of the Year, and Restaurant Bar of the Year which Manchester’s famous Pizza Parlour Crazy Pedro’s has been nominated for (obviously!)

Pedro’s has always been a favourite of ours, we love them for their casual slices, their kooky specials and their fantastic array of alcoholic beverages. It’s a place you can party, enjoy a cocktail or two, and many slices of pizza all at the same time!

But that isn’t it for Manchester. Northern Quarters Japanese inspired restaurant and bar Cottonopolis based in one of NQ’s most stunning buildings has been nominated for Drinks Menu of the Year. It’s no surprise to us as the cocktails down at Cottonopolis have won big before at Imbibe UK Awards.

Cottonopolis is one of the best places to spend your time, whether that’s just for a few drinks in the week or their epic bottomless brunch on the weekend so there’s no surprise they might have another award heading their way!
