If you’re a fan of Lily’s over in Ashton (who isn’t?!), but don’t really enjoy taking the bus/tram/car all that way – well here’s some good news for you – they opened up a NEW deli in Chorlton this weekend!
The MFDF Award Winners (for 2018 and 2019) have set up shop on Manchester Road, just near to Barbakan and Unicorn Grocery. The new deli features many of their most-loved dishes, as well as an impressive sweet counter full of all of those colourful Indian treats.
Available only for takeaway at the moment, you can choose from a slightly smaller menu than usual, but one that still features a whole host of vegetarian Indian delights, from curries to samosas to ingredients, spices, chai and SO much more. It’s basically become your new one-stop shop for anything Indian-related in south Manchester.
Lily’s is also responsible for one of the best Tarka Dahl‘s you’ll ever eat in your entire life, and if you’re using the quality of a dahl to determine the overall quality of the restaurant (as you always should) – Lily’s always comes out top.
Oh yeah, they’re also offering up a range of lassi and teas too – perfect to accompany your curry and 100 sides.
