This week sees the (eventual) opening of Lazy Sundae on Tib Street in the Northern Quarter, a venue which has been threatening to open for around a year now.

Of course, COVID got in the way, but this Saturday 8th May will see the new travel-inspired ice cream and bubble tea venue open their doors to us all. Yay!

From the people behind Boba Bubble Tea, which you’ll always see busy in the Arndale Centre, Lazy Sundae’s flavours and offerings are inspired by the owner’s world travels, visiting countries all over Asia and picking up a wealth of unique flavours.

There’s an impressive menu of cie cream flavours, including Taro, Matcha, Milo, Thai Tea, Vietnamese Coffee, Honeydew Milk and Mango Mochi. They even offer up a Cereal Milk flavour – very popular nowadays – as well as a banging Brown Sugar offering.

You can make any of the ice creams into milkshakes, or you can have them on a cookie or even better – as a ‘cereal cone’ – with melted Lucky Charm marshmallows on there too.

They also serve up an impressive range of ‘Lazy Bottles‘, milk teas with panna cotta pudding or aloe vero in there – which sound a bit mad but are actually delicious! There’s also a selection of Fresh Iced Teas and even some pretty indulgent specials – of which their Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream Float is a sure winner!

There’s tons on offer – so head on down from Saturday 8th May to check them out. If you find yourself in the area on Saturday and you’re one of the first 50 customers through the door – you’ll get a FREE goodie bag too!
