The resurgence of Peter Street as a top night time destination continues. Once a bit of a shite end of town, the arrival of Albert Schloss and Albert Hall – replacing Brannigan’s – ushered in a whole wave of new and exciting venues.

The list continues to grow almost on a weekly basis, with (starting from the top near the Central Library) you’ll find a NEW Ezra & Gil opening, Asha’s, BrewDog, Rudy’s, Impossible, Revs de Cuba, Dirty Martini, Schofield’s Bar and the soon to open Blues Kitchen.

I’ve decided to call this area the PETERLOO end of town (you can use that) – and there’s set to be a brand new addition to that list – NQ64.

Adding to the already established (and brilliant) site in the Northern Quarter, they’ll be taking over the old Club LIV spot, which was also once home to some seriously terrible clubs over the years, NQ64 will be adding to their already impressive roster of old school arcade machines and consoles with this new location.

You can expect more of the same – smashing Golden Axe until the early hours with loads of beers and some top tunes, or even better; a ton of cocktails while you try and beat the high score on Dance Revolution. Not forgetting showing off to everyone the Guitar Hero skills you spent 4 years honing in your bedroom whilst at school.

The opening date for NQ64 on Peter Street is still TBC – so keep an eye out for more developments as they come in. NQ64 in the Northern Quarter will be opening on May 17th.
