The anniversary of the horrendous Manchester Arena attack falls on 22nd May- an event which shook the city and its people to our very core. The city intends to commemorate this event in memory of those who lost their lives.

There will be lots of ways for us to pay our respects, and Roc & Rye will be raising money for the Manchester emergency services with a cocktail special which will be available for one week.

Running from Tuesday 22nd May for one week, The Manchester Martini will take elements from Manchester’s best-known ingredients, recipes and brands to create something as loyal to the city as the people themselves.

This cocktail is made up from Manchester 3 Rivers Gin, Orange Curacao, Honey (representing the bee), Vimto, lemon juice and finished off with egg white for a foamy, fluffy texture.

And it doesn’t stop there, this delicious cocktail is served with a shot of Vimto spiked Prosecco and a homemade Manchester tart. It doesn’t get more Mancunian than that.

This cocktail cost just £10, with half of the profits going directly to the Manchester Emergency Fund.
