Seed & Cherry's NEW MENU of Brunch & Lunch Classics

You may be forgiven for perhaps not noticing Seed & Cherry, walking past and thinking nothing of it. But I’m here to tell you – you’re seriously missing out.

Located on Church Street, right next to The Unicorn pub, Seed & Cherry offer up two unique selling points. One is their impressive range of coffee beans, giving customers the chance to explore different flavour profiles with each one.

Another is their food menu – a selection of Small Brunch Plates that are designed to be shared tapas style, giving you the chance to try a variety of different dishes in one sitting.

You’ll be pleased to know that this January saw them launch a BRAND-NEW food menu, offering up a whole menu selection of delicious brunch plates.

There’s the Breakfast Skewer (£4.80) which comes with Vegan black pudding, beef sausage, roasted tomatoes and halloumi, and their impressive take on the Turkish Eggs (£4.90) a poached egg over whipped organic yoghurt, drizzled with Aleppo chilli butter, and served with sourdough bread.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth then you can tuck into their Brioche French Toast (£4.50) which is served with seasonal berries and vanilla ice cream or even some Classic Vegan Pancakes (£4.30) topped with berries and vegan yoghurt.

It’s not just the Small Brunch Plates which have had a makeover – they’ve also added an impressive range of Lunch dishes that are bigger and more substantial than the smaller tapas-style brunch offering.

Their Cauliflower Steak (£8) is a big (vegan) standout, with Cajun spiced cauliflower served with a watercress salad and chimichurri salsa, as well as their vegetarian friendly Honey Glazed Halloumi (£7.80) which is pan fried over tossed roasted carrot, orange supreme, and watercress salad with a honey dressing.

For meat eaters there’s the Chicken Cacciatore (£8.80), a pan roasted chicken breast in a rich tomato sauce, red peppers and onions, or the very popular Pulled Brisket Lunch (£9.00) a dish that comes served with sautéed onions, field mushrooms and new potatoes, topped with a fried egg.
