Historic Salford pub – The Black Friar – prepares for the warmer months with big plans for their garden – including full outdoor Garden Bar in partnership with Didsbury Gin + wood fire kitchen!
After keeping the citizens of Salford cosy all winter, the iconic pub + restaurant is getting ready for a blooming marvellous upcoming season in their lush garden. Arguably the best of Manchester’s hidden beer gardens, this little slice of paradise is an oasis in the city.
Coming this Spring (date TBC) and here to stay thereafter, the all new Black Friar Garden Bar will be the perfect spot to relax and soak up some rays.
The bar, brought to you in partnership with Didsbury Gin, will serve a specially created outdoor drinks menu alongside all the usual Black Friar offerings – grab a drink, order up a nibble and enjoy live music all season long.
Having teamed up with local purveyors of fine spirits Didsbury Gin, the Black Friar Garden Bar will feature an exclusive artisanal gin menu for all to enjoy. Think classic + signature gin cocktails, cooling spritzers and (if you’re feeling particularly thirsty) bigger concoctions to share.
Having wowed the foodie scene in their exquisite restaurant, the kitchen team turn their attention outdoors for a more casual affair.
A new state-of-the-art wood fire kitchen will serve up British-inspired dishes all day long with Sharing Boards, Lighter Bites + tantalising Toasties all to feature. Food will be served late into the night, so be sure to check out the Garden Menu if you pop in for a pint.
The á la carte menu will also continue to be served daily from 12pm in the pub, restaurant + garden.
