The ‘Jubilee High G&Tea’ has been created exclusively for the occasion by chef, Ben and will consist of a range of fresh and light sandwiches, alongside scones, cakes and patisseries all baked in house. The sandwich options include Scottish Smoked Salmon, Brown Shrimp, Cornfed Coronation Chicken, British Cured Ham, Pitchfork Lancashire Cheese and Bulford Brown Egg, and will be joined by decadent cakes and indulgent patisseries, alongside plain and fruit scones with traditional jam and clotted cream. And what’s an afternoon tea without a bit of booze? Your light lunch will also be accompanied by a Didsbury Gin cocktail, who have just partnered with The Black Friar on its brand-new garden bar. The afternoon tea is only available for guests who have pre-booked and quoted ‘Jubilee High Tea’ in their booking.
