Still thinking about the hot dog to be honest...

Cumberland Sausage Hot Dog
The Dog House
The show stopping thing I’ve eaten for the past few weeks I’d say. It’s so hard to beat the classics because they’re just so damn good. The best thing about this kind of hot dog is the slightly charred outer layer it gets from sitting on the hot pan. Same with the onions, they’re beautifully caramelised. Topped with lashings of ketchup (AKA the best and only sauce anyone needs), I literally vocalised ‘mm’ the entire way through eating this. Oh and also, it was FOUR POUND?! Bargain. – Alex Watson

Pedro’s Party Brew
Crazy Pedro’s x Camden Brewery
As if being one of the best bars wasn’t enough, Pedro’s created their very own party brew beer. In a collab with Camden Town Brewery, this is a mash up of lager and ale and is seriously citrusy. Easy drinking, light and refreshing it goes swimmingly with every pizza on the menu. Funny how they’ve managed to do that init? – Jale Hardy

Big Mac Poutine
Blue Caribou
We started a new series at Finest HQ called The Weekly Drool. And it means we get to eat a lot of dirty grub every week. Which is both a good and a bad thing. Each week as it goes on, we gain about 6 pounds of fat. It’s worth it though to share FIT things like this with the rest of Manchester. Stepping up poutine with an actual chopped up BIG MAC. It’s naughty but it feels so good. The special is available only until the end of the week though, so be quick.- Ellie Edginton

Sunday Lunch with Tom Kerridge
Bull & Bear
I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek of what to expect at Bull & Bear earlier this week and the main course was a massive fillet of Beef cooked to absolute perfection – proper melt in the mouth tender meat. The dish was served alongside a huge Yorkshire Pudding – which would have been enough. But it was stuffed with Brisket – making it even more ‘to die for’. There were crunchy carrots and plenty of Horseradish Cream too. Haven’t stopped thinking about this since. – James Barker

The Big Apple
Six by Nico
This might just be the prettiest thing I’ve ever eaten. But also it tasted DAMN good too. The perfect last course in a 6 course meal, light and refreshing and leaving you wanting to go back tomorrow. A beautiful twist on an absolutely classic, The New York Cheese Cake was packed to bursting with apple flavour. Served with sweet dusted cinnamon granola, apple compote and cubes of sweet apple. Absolutely delicious. – India Morris

Bottomless Roast Dinner
Banyan Spinningfields
I went down to Banyan on Sunday to take pictures of their Roast Dinner and I just had to tuck in once I was done. Always a fan of a big slab of beef in my face – this bad boy didn’t disappoint at all! Best of all it comes as part of a Bottomless Booze deal so I sat there with a roast dinner and made my way through around two bottles of Prosecco and a fair few Aperol’s. Lovely. – Ben Brown
