Established back in 2008, The Chocolate Cafe has become a staple on the vibrant streets of Ramsbottom, the go-to place for exquisite choccies and truffles, made using the finest Columbian cocoa and the very best British ingredients.
The award-winning licenced cafe also serves up lunch and light snacks, afternoon tea and their famous chocolate pizzas, and this September they’ve added something new to the menu – truffles inspired by the flavours of Manchester.
The hand-crafted Manchester-themed truffles feature four brand-new flavours – including the city’s favourite (non-alcoholic) drink – Vimto; a white chocolate truffle filled with a rich white chocolate ganache and topped with Vimto jam.
They’ve also designed a Manchester Tart truffle which is white chocolate filled with a white chocolate custard ganache, raspberry jam and a sprinkle of coconut.
Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls from Wigan are next, with a truffle made using milk chocolate filled with a smooth dark mint chocolate ganache.
Finally, nothing Manchester related would be complete without a reference to the Worker Bee, so they’ve created a Honey Truffle, infused with honey from the local area.
The Manchester Truffles come in at £16.99 for a box of 12 handmade choccies, and they’re available until the end of September.
