Commemorating four years of banging pizza slices, late night karaoke and gig extravaganza, YES turns four this weekend, and what a wild ride it has been.

Known for four floors of booze, food, unmatched gig venues and more, the venue will celebrate its birthday by giving away 4,000 FREE drinks across this weekend to its loyal punters. The deal will be spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with 4,000 free drinks given out from 12pm – 4pm each day.

The menu of free drinks you can choose from includes; pints of Amstel, Symonds Cider, any single spirit and mixer and house wine. YES will also host its cracking cocktail deal that offers 2 for £10 cocktails from 12pm – 6pm Friday and Saturday and all day Sunday.

In addition to this, the venue is hosting a massive birthday soiree in its Pink Room tomorrow night featuring the usual frolicking from its resident DJs. Expect big birthday bangers, lots of singalongs and crowd pleasing hits, as well as a free drink on entry, in the comfort of the neon-pink music haven.

Down in the basement, Fat Out, a collective that has been producing shows across the city since 2008, will throw a free entry karaoke bash. With a focus on promoting a combination of challenging, experimental, queer and downright rowdy music and art, tomorrow night in the YES basement won’t veer from Fat Out’s ethos.

And it doesn’t end there. On Saturday, there’ll be a huge all-day party on the terrace and Deptford Northern Soul Club is throwing one of its famous shindigs in the Pink Room. Expect backdrops, gliding and spinning on the dancefloor from a generation of Northern soul groovers, with Night Beats taking to the stage beforehand.

The brain project of Texan Danny Lee Blackwell, the band is inspired by R&B and Western psychedelia, frequently sharing the stage with the likes of Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, The Jesus and Mary Chain and many more. Tickets for the gig are £14 and Deptford Northern Soul just £8.

YES will be open from 12 noon until late all weekend, and the free drinks are on a first come first served basis. You can purchase tickets for the bar’s birthday weekend events via the link below.
