Higher Ground have announced the return leg of their collaboration with Barra on Sunday 27 October. Barra is an intimate restaurant in Berlin’s Neukölln district, opened in late 2018 by Kerry Westhead and Daniel Remers. Both originally hailing from Greater Manchester, they have been heavily involved in the Berlin gastronomy scene since 2012. Barra prides itself on high quality, seasonal produce to create creative yet approachable dishes and their wine list champions sustainable farming and minimal intervention.

Barney Wilczak, the distiller and owner of Capreolus Distillery based in the Cotswolds, will also be pouring drinks on the day. Barney and his family produce some of the world’s finest eau de vie using fruit grown in and around the Gloucestershire area. They will have a selection of Capreolus eau de vie available to enjoy at the end of the meal, with Barney there to discuss more of his story and share his passion for distilling.
