Reggae legend Barrington Levy is set to perform live at the Albert Hall on 24th June, with supporting act The Skatalites, as part of his UK tour orchestrated by Reggae Land. Levy, born in Jamaica in the mid-1960s, has wielded significant influence over the trajectory of reggae music, shaping its path into dancehall, fusion, and ragga jungle. With a multitude of albums and a wealth of successful hits to his credit, Levy’s distinctive sound has sparked collaborations with numerous artists and garnered international acclaim. His music has also been extensively sampled by artists in the jungle scene. Known for his magnetic stage presence, Levy has a knack for captivating audiences and igniting the dance floor.
