Fri 18th - Sun 20th Jul, 2025

Bury’s biggest celebration of food and drink is back this July, and it’s dialling everything up a notch. From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 July, the town centre will be transformed into a three-day feast of local flavour, live music, global street food and community spirit. Kicking things off is a new Beers and Bands night on Bank Street from 6pm Friday, a free outdoor party packed with local talent and Bury brews. Expect sets from Urban Theory, Sky Valley Mistress and Shoehorn, all soundtracking the first round of the weekend.

Over at Kay Gardens, the Hong Kong Market returns for its second year, this time bigger and bolder with over 50 stalls. Curated by Moliuliu’s Store, the market offers a snapshot of Hong Kong food and culture — street food, snacks, gifts and jewellery — all set to the scent of sizzling skewers and sweet egg waffles. Meanwhile The Old Rock will be packed with over 70 independent traders serving up everything from creamy handmade fudge and proper Thai curries to prosecco on tap and global street food. The Festival Stage will be based here too, hosting a full line-up of live music across the weekend from the likes of Uky Bobs, Bloco Ashe, Joan and the Wad and acoustic duo Celebratory Cake.

Bury Market is also staying open throughout the weekend, offering its usual spread of over 350 stalls and an unmatched range of produce — from the freshest local pies, fruit and veg, to artisan cheese and the town’s famous black pudding. Across the town’s venues, expect extra specials: there’s pasta-making sessions with Pasta Ferrazza at The Met, DJ sessions at Daily Grind on Sunday, and terrace live sets at West Ivy all weekend long. With street food, local traders, live music and proper community energy, Bury Food and Drink Festival is shaping up to be one of the summer’s most unmissable weekends.
