Following the closure of South Nightclub in June 2022, where he DJ’ed for two decades, Clint Boon is back with a new weekly residency at Off The Square in the Northern Quarter. After 17 months of searching for a new home, Clint will play Off The Square every Friday night, starting 12 January. The night will be sponsored by Red Stripe, with 100 free bottles to give out over the first five events.
Clint said: “I can’t wait to get back into doing a weekly night. It means I can take people on a journey again, not just on a particular night, but over the weeks, the months, the years. Not only celebrating the best records ever made, from every genre, but picking up on new music along the way.
“Records that haven’t even been made yet! That’s what I loved about South. Every week was different. Yet every week brought the same beautiful vibes. I made some great friends in that room, and I know for certain many of them will be stood dancing by the DJ booth at my new night.”
