Eyes On The Pies host a cinematic showcase of Manchester’s black musical heritage. Join them at The Empty Space in Media City for an event celebrating the rich culture of Manchester’s black music community.

The in-person event promises to be a nostalgic affair like no other, where guests are invited to immerse themselves in the sounds that have shaped the city. Discover the stories behind iconic artists, influential genres, and groundbreaking movements that have left an indelible mark on our music scene.

Panellists and performer including President T, Murk Don, Mayhem, Studio 88, KC Locke, Flossmode, Lady Ice, Dyno, Slay, Fiasco and Meany.

Notable speakers include Eyes On The Pies manager Kane Dunn-Thomas, who has previously worked at Dice Recordings as an assistant to Big Narstie and has managed local acts including Meekz and Just Banco. Writer and director Joshua Reeves will also appear at the event to chat about his experience working in television and film.

Eyes On The Pies are a collective and management company playing a big part in the shift in Mancunian music and culture, proudly rooted in education and community.
