The Royal Shakespeare Company returns to Salford this week, this time with its adaptation of the erratic political thriller Julius Ceaser. Directed by Atri Banerjee, his fresh interpretation of the timeless Shakespeare tale forces us all to consider how far we would go for our political principles. Concerned that Caesar poses a threat to democracy, revolutionaries take the violent decision to murder him, but as the world spins out of control, chaos, horror and superstition rush in to fill the void.
