Former G-Unit man and schoolyard chum of 50 Cent and Tony Yayo, punchline king Lloyd Banks’ debut Hunger For More (and its sequel Hunger For More 2) remain some of the best sets to emerge from the East Coast in the noughts. Since departing the G-Unit, his Course of the Inevitable albums – featuring beat stewardship from Cartune Beatz, among others – have showcased his trademark lyrically dense style to devastating effect. This should be a memorably intimate show at the Blues Kitchen, more than a decade after his last appearance in Manchester, with support from Rich Reason and Britizen Kane.
