Following the huge success of the London Jazz Café shows, Mahalia Presents is hitting the road this month, including a date at Manchester’s Deaf Institute. The event will showcase three emerging artists, South London soul singer James Vickery, Manchester’s very own Akemi Fox and Victoria Jane.
Founded in March 2023 at London’s Moth Club by British songstress and double BRIT, Grammy and Ivor Novello award nominee Mahalia, the showcase series is respawned from an event she used to run when she was 16 in her hometown of Leicester, and strives to platform upcoming R&B artists.
