Joining the line-up of this year’s Manchester International Festival, contemporary artist Blackhaine presents And Now I Know What Love Is at Diecast. The immersive performance work blends choreography and sound, asking both the cast and audience to question their sense of belonging and love in a world of despair. The internationally acclaimed artist, choreographer and musician explores the similarities between birth and death through a collage of music, text and choreography. Taking over the industrial setting of Diecast, the piece draws inspiration from the rich urban landscapes of North West England where the artist grew up.
