Chart-topping podcast series The Rest Is Politics has announced a huge UK tour, in line with this year’s general election. Hosted by former Downing Street Director of Communications and Strategy Alistair Campbell and ex Conservative cabinet minister Rory Stewart, the series returns to the stage with a string of live dates, including shows at the O2 Apollo in Manchester on Friday 11 October.
Presented by a duo who have been at the heart of British politics at the highest level, The Rest Is Politics lifts the lid on the secrets of Westminster, offering an insider’s view on political goings on both at home and abroad.
Since its launch, the podcast has had over 145 million total downloads and attracts 2.5 million listens each week. It was crowned Amazon Music’s Podcast of the Year, and every episode has gone to the top of the British podcast charts since their launch.
Kicking off in Brighton on Sunday 6 October, the podcast will then head to venues in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff, before closing at London’s iconic The O2 on Tuesday 15 October.
The Manchester shows happen on Friday 11 October, at 5pm and and 8.30pm. Presale tickets are available from Wednesday 14 February at 8am with individual venue pre-sales taking place on Thursday 15 February at 10am. General on sale begins on Friday 16 February at 10am with tickets available here
