It’s hard for me to think of a time before Bunny Jacksons. A time when I had to think long and hard about where i wanted to go to get drunk, eat good food and listen to top tunes.
Now it’s all too easy. With a gang of bartenders who are not only a bunch of very friendly buggers, but also know more about booze than Phil Mitchell and George Best put together, Bunny’s has been my favourite city centre haunt this year and it doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon.
This Friday 9th November they’ll be celebrating their 1st Birthday with a party of epic proportions.
Bunny Jackson’s First Birthday Party
Friday 9th November, from 4.30pm
A quick look at their poster reveals the following points:
Live Music
Bunny’s have managed to forge themselves a fantastic reputation over the past 12 months for somewhere where you can catch some cracking live music, typically at the weekends, by their Juke Joint House Band. It seems their 1st Birthday will be no different.
Happy Hour ALL NIGHT
There’s nowt better than a happy hour, and the one at Bunny’s is legendary. From 9pm to 11pm you can get the following:
- Bunny Boilers & Party Drinks – £5
- Frozen Daiquiris – £5
- BJ’s Pilsner – £3
- Bottle of House Wine – £12
- Bottle of Prosecco – £16
- Bucket of 5 Bud/Corona – £15

Special Birthday Cocktails
As mentioned above, the gang at Bunny’s know a thing or twelve about cocktails and so you should expect something special from them to celebrate this most auspicious occasion. I couldn’t begin to speculate what they’ve got in store but if it involves Campari, Vodka and Birthday Cake – I’m in!
Guest Bartenders
Tom Cruise out of Cocktail? Dennis Reynolds? Ted Danson from Cheers? It could be any one of these. Or none. Who cares? There’s cheap booze and 10p wings on offer – let’s go mental! See you there.
