Come as you are this NYE at Refuge

I’m not a big New Year’s Eve person. It usually is a giant disappointment with expensive drinks, overcrowding and in inherent guilt that comes with drinking on a Sunday night.

But with that being said, and my Bah Humbugs aside, something low-key and relaxed within the historic confines of The Refuge might just be the thing to coax me out of my house. Delicious grub, drinks and even a little dancing sound pretty good to me.

As we welcome in the New Year, there will be not one, but two parties at The Refuge LET’S DANCE event. Expect a disco house party in the public bar from the finest Refuge residents + special guest Balearic Mike…whilst in the basement we have a subterranean, genre-jumping soundtrack courtesy of residents from Manchester’s non-stop exotic disco, Homoelectric feat. special guest Kelvin Andrews.

In the basement will be Move Ya Body hosted by Homoelectric and House of Decay featuring Kevin Andrews, Will Tramp and Gina Breeze. Expect club and house classics as well as the sounds of the holy trinity; Disco, Soul and Funk until the early hours of 2018.

Tickets start at £15 for LET’S DANCE for regular entry to The Refuge public bar and basement party. For £40 you can enjoy a slap up meal from the set menu at the restaurant and entrance to Come As You Are to dance you into 2018.
