Purple Riot continuously strives to support indie fashion and retail and launched Love Fashion: Manchester, in 2013 as part of Vogue Fashion’s Night out. The event which was curated by the team at Purple Riot was attended by over 5,000 people and took place in Exchange Square and gave independent designers the opportunity casino to showcase their collections with pop up exhibition spaces and fashion shows alongside the major high street brands that take part in the national event. The team have since gone on to produce the event at Old Granada Studios and as part of the Heart of Manchester Bid Student Takeover.
